Worcester Man Found Guilty Of First-Degree Murder In 2022 Killing

The 34-year-old is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday in Worcester Superior Court

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man has been convicted of killing a 29-year-old man whose body was found in the woods in Paxton more than four years ago.

Christopher Fuller, 34, was found guilty Thursday of first-degree murder in the death of Ernest Appiah, the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office announced last week. Fuller is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday in Worcester Superior Court and faces a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Investigators determined Fuller shot Appiah on Feb. 28, 2022, after the two left Centerfolds, an adult entertainment establishment in Worcester, according to the DA's office.

Paxton police found Appiah’s body near Asnebumskit Road on March 5, 2022, after a passerby reported seeing it in the woods. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide.

Patch reported on Fuller’s arrest in July 2022. A Worcester County grand jury indicted him on a murder charge that December, and he has remained in custody since his initial arraignment, prosecutors said.
