(whmi.com) — Brighton commuters need to prepare for a 50-day closure of the westbound Grand River Avenue ramp to eastbound I-96 starting Tuesday at 9 a.m., with traffic detoured via Hilton, Old US-23, and Spencer roads. Westbound I-96 near Howell will also be reduced to one lane this weekend, and Grand River near the I-96 bridge will see lane closures, with a brief reopening for the Destination Stars Hollow event.
