• Card allows district residents age 60+ to attend home sporting events for free (dearbornschools.org) — Dearborn residents aged 60 and older can get a free Premier Citizen Discount Card from any Dearborn Public School or the district's Audette Street office, giving them free admission to most home sporting events and concerts. The card also offers discounts on plays, musicals, and select Community Education classes, covering all of Dearborn and part of Dearborn Heights. 
• Inside the Ambitious Effort to Rebuild Henry Ford's Home (mymagicgr.com) — Henry Ford's historic Fair Lane estate in Dearborn is undergoing a meticulous restoration aimed at recreating how the home looked in the 1940s, with public tours expected to resume as early as next year. The 56-room mansion, once home to Henry and Clara Ford, features unique amenities and expansive grounds that could soon become one of Michigan's most popular visitor destinations.
• Democrats ignored the uncommitted movement for Gaza in 2024. Now, it's winning elections (rocketnews.com) — Dearborn voters played a key role as uncommitted movement co-founder Abhas Alawieh won the Democratic nomination for a state senate seat based in the city, signaling growing political clout for Gaza-focused organizers. The movement has shifted from platform protests to running progressive candidates, helping drive several Michigan primary victories, especially among Arab American communities.
