2 Dead, 2 Hurt In Oak Park Shooting: Police

Police have not made any arrests in the shooting.

OAK PARK, MI — Two teens were shot to death inside an Oakland County home early Monday morning, according to police.

The shooting happened at 4:48 a.m. Monday at a home near Coolidge Highway, south of Nine Mile Road in Oak Park, according to police.

A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were found shot dead inside the home, according to police.

Two other people, who are known to investigators, were taken to a nearby hospital and listed in stable condition, according to police.

Police have not made any arrests in the shooting and did not provide any further details.

"This senseless act of violence and disregard for human life will not be tolerated in our community," said City Manager Erik Tungate. "We are dedicating every available resource to this investigation and are committed to bringing those responsible to justice. If anyone has information, we urge them to come forward."
