• Electric motorcycle rider seriously injured in Rochester Hills crash (lakeorionreview.com) — A Rochester Hills man riding an electric motorcycle was seriously injured in a crash involving a 20‑year‑old driver from Lake Orion on West Avon Road. Investigators say the rider left the crosswalk and the truck allegedly entered on a red light, prompting renewed calls from the sheriff for clearer rules on e‑bikes and electric motorcycles.
   

• Two charged with terrorism following threats to elected officials, Supreme Court (legalnews.com) — State officials have charged two Michigan residents, including a 61‑year‑old man from Lake Orion, with multiple counts of making terrorist threats against elected leaders and the state Supreme Court. The attorney general says such threats are rising and urges residents to report bias‑motivated or terrorism‑related incidents to local police and the state Hate Crimes and Domestic Terrorism Unit.
