• Oracle VP says they want to be good neighbors to Saline Township (wemu.org) — A major Oracle data center called The Barn is rising in Saline Township, with a company vice president promising to be a "good neighbor" and touting more than $150 million in annual local economic impact. Oracle says it plans to stay long term, support events like the local fair and Saline Area Fire Department, and engage more directly with nearby residents. 
• Michigan Sports Writers football polls for Sept. 30 (michigansthumb.com) — Saline football fans can celebrate as the Hornets are ranked fourth in Michigan's latest Division 1 poll with a 5-0 record.
