Popular Macomb county Restaurant Temporarily Closes Due To Fire
There were no injuries, restaurant staff said.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A popular Macomb County restaurant has been forced to temporarily close after a fire.
The fire happened Wednesday at Georgio’s Apple Orchard Inn in Washington Township.
It was unclear what started the fire, but restaurant staff said all employees and guests were able to get out safely by the time firefighters arrived. They added there were no injuries.

"We will be closed while we assess the damage and begin the recovery process," restaurant staff said. "Our team is like family and your support means more to us than words can express."
The restaurant did not give a reopening timeline.
