The sentence is raising questions (syracuse.com) — A St. Clair Shores great-grandmother was killed in a 2025 hit-and-run, and the driver has now received two years of probation and weekend jail time instead of full-time incarceration. The sentence, which also includes community service and no contact with the family, is drawing scrutiny because of the victim's age and the circumstances of the crash.

The elaborate setup, featuring Lions skeletons and tombstones, will stay up through Halloween and open for trick-or-treaters to walk through on Halloween night.
