Did You Hire This Man As A Nanny? Police Seek Tips In MN Amber Alert Case
Investigators say the suspect contacted parents on social media and offered childcare services before the Jan. 21 incident.

SHERBURNE COUNTY, MN — The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in an ongoing investigation into a child abduction case in Zimmerman, Minnesota, that triggered an Amber Alert.
Joseph Andrew Bragg, 28, is charged with kidnapping and sexual assault in connection with a Jan. 21 incident involving a 7-year-old child, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities said the child was found safely later that day.
Investigators said Bragg communicated with the child’s parents through social media, offering to provide nanny or daycare services.

As part of the investigation, the sheriff’s office is now asking anyone who hired Bragg as a nanny or childcare provider to contact investigators.
Authorities said they are working to determine whether Bragg may have had contact with other families.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension tip line at 651-793-2465.
The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the FBI.
