These snapshots of local enforcement activity give residents a clear view of where crashes, impaired driving, and other incidents are occurring in familiar neighborhoods and shopping areas.

Wings of the North welcomes Black Sheep Squadron visitor (hometownsource.com) — Eden Prairie residents can visit the Wings of the North Air Museum at Flying Cloud Airport to see a preserved Marine Corps dress uniform from Black Sheep Squadron pilot Henry "Hank" Bourgeois. The museum, at 14857 Pioneer Trail, is open weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a close-up look at local connections to World War II aviation history.
   

3. Brighter Days Family Grief Center expands Eden Prairie headquarters (eplocalnews.org) — Brighter Days Family Grief Center is significantly expanding its Eden Prairie headquarters, adding three new levels of space for workshops, counseling, and family support. The Eden Prairie site will become a dedicated no-cost grief and trauma counseling hub while a new expanded space boosts daily programming and school-based "Growing Through Grief" services that support students, educators, and families across Minnesota.
   

4. SouthWest Transit sets State Fair ridership record (eplocalnews.org) — Eden Prairie-based SouthWest Transit just set a new Minnesota State Fair ridership record, providing over 120,000 rides from hubs including SouthWest Station in Eden Prairie. Even with slightly lower fair attendance, more riders chose the local shuttles, which now shift to serving fall events like the Renaissance Festival and other major outings residents may want to reach by bus.
   

5. 110_121 Champ Junior Women (usfigureskating.org) — Local figure skater Katelyn Nykanen, representing Eden Prairie FSC, placed second in the Champ Junior Women free skate, highlighting a strong showing for the hometown club. The event featured competitors from across the region, giving Eden Prairie skating fans a look at how their skater stacks up against top rivals.
