• North Memorial, Sanford Health merger: $600M investment coming to Minnesota hospitals (fox9.com) — Maple Grove residents could see major changes in local healthcare as Sanford Health plans a $500 million expansion of Maple Grove Hospital following its merger with North Memorial Health. Representatives briefed the Maple Grove City Council on the deal, which includes another $100 million for Robbinsdale Hospital and promises to keep core services and union contracts in place while easing pressure on crowded emergency and surgical departments.
   

• Man Killed in Rollover Crash on I-94 in Maple Grove (limitless-news.com) — A 49-year-old St. Michael man died Friday evening when his pickup rolled into a ditch while entering westbound I-94 from I-694 in Maple Grove. State Patrol reports he wasn't wearing a seat belt, the road was dry, and alcohol involvement is still pending. Maple Grove Police and North Memorial Ambulance assisted at the scene.
