United Arab Emirates Extradites MN Man On Child Porn Charges
The Bloomington man now faces federal counts of production of child pornography, enticement of a minor, and more.

MINNEAPOLIS — A fugitive from Bloomington, Minnesota has been arrested and extradited from the United Arab Emirates on child pornography and other charges, U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger announced.
Ibrahim Ghassan Sleyman, 30, now faces counts of production of child pornography, receipt of child pornography, enticement of a minor, transfer of obscene material to a minor, and identity theft.
He made his initial appearance the in U.S. District Court of Minnesota on Monday.

Between October 2020 and September 2022, Ibrahim Ghassan Sleyman, 30, used Snapchat and other messaging apps to solicit sexually explicit material and sex acts from minors, according to authorities.
Some of the minors were as young as nine years old, investigators said.

Sleyman also groomed and enticed a child with gifts in order to produce child pornography and engage in sexual activity with Sleyman, according to authorities.
Sleyman became aware he was being investigated and on Sept. 6, 2022, he fled to Abu Dhabi, UAE, investigators said.
About a year later, on Sept. 15, 2023, he was extradited back to the U.S. and was taken into federal custody.
