• Gunfire Ricochets Off Hood of Minn. Deputy's Cruiser into Windshield (officer.com) — A Ramsey County sheriff's deputy driving near the Maplewood–Roseville border on Rice Street and Roselawn Avenue was shot at Tuesday night, with a bullet ricocheting off the squad's hood into the windshield. The deputy and K-9 were unhurt, and the suspect's Buick was last seen heading toward St. Paul's McDonough Homes area, where the deputy eventually lost sight of it.
