• Public comment sought for MVTA Shakopee Transit Proposal (hometownsource.com) — Shakopee riders are being asked to weigh in on a major Minnesota Valley Transit Authority proposal that would replace Routes 497 and 499 with a new Route 429 circulator this December. The route would link key spots like Marschall Road Transit Station, Shakopee High School, St. Francis Hospital, and downtown, with public comments accepted through October 15 online.
   

• High School Results & Schedule 9/21/26 (ingstadmedia.com) — Shakopee's football team, ranked fifth in Class AAAAAA, notched a 22–9 win over Stillwater behind a big rushing night from Alden Riley Bssoume. The Sabers girls soccer squad also rolled past Mahtomedi 6–2, and today Shakopee hosts Eden Prairie in girls tennis at 4 p.m., giving local fans another chance to cheer on home teams.
