• St. Croix River Valley communities approve preliminary 2027 budgets (hometownsource.com) — Stillwater homeowners should prepare for a nearly 4% levy increase in the city's preliminary 2027 budget, adding just under $74 a year for a median-value home. City leaders say the hike reflects added staff, higher insurance, and catching up on big projects, while neighboring Bayport and Lake Elmo are planning even steeper increases.
