• ‘100 Deadliest Days of Summer' bring renewed focus on teen driver safety (wtva.com) — Local officials are warning Pontotoc families that summer’s “100 Deadliest Days” have begun, after a teen was recently killed in Pontotoc County and another in Alcorn County. Highway Patrol leaders and residents stress that speeding, cell phone use, and not wearing seatbelts are driving the danger, and urge teens to slow down, avoid distractions, and buckle up all summer.
