Opponents of St. Louis data center take their fight to court (stlpr.org) — A lawsuit filed by opponents of a proposed $3 billion midtown St. Louis data center is asking a court to halt the project and overturn the city's conditional use permit. Residents argue health, environmental, and procedural concerns were brushed aside, even as city officials work on new data‑center guidelines and aldermen advance related legislation.
   

2. Frizz Fest returns to Tower Grove Park, celebrating Black beauty, community, inclusion (ksdk.com) — Tower Grove Park will host the free Frizz Fest on Saturday, Sept. 19, bringing thousands to St. Louis for a celebration of Black beauty, wellness, and community. Expect more than 50 local businesses, food trucks, live performances including headliner Kirby, and an expanded sensory-friendly youth zone created with local partners to better welcome neurodivergent children and families.

Maryland Heights Police alerts public of man approaching, following women on pathway (kmov.com) — Police are increasing patrols along the Fee Fee Greenway in Maryland Heights after several women reported a man approaching them, asking for phone numbers, and briefly following them. While no crime has been reported, St. Louis-area trail users are urged to call 911 or Maryland Heights police if they see the described man or feel unsafe on the pathway.
