Concord Police Called To North Main Street For An Assault Report At A Downtown Bar

After the fight downtown, one person was accused of attempting to run another person over in a car. Several people were taken into custody.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating an assault incident downtown on Thursday night.

Around 9:30 p.m., dispatch began taking calls about a fight at a bar downtown at the corner of North Main and Pleasant Street Extension. The assault was reportedly between a man and a woman, dispatch told officers heading to the scene. The fight reportedly moved outside, with dispatch saying, about a minute later, that one person was outside and the other person attempted to run them over with a car.

The first arriving officer ran into the parties outside a pizzeria, around the corner, on Pleasant Street Extension.

Two minutes later, the officer said things were under control and began checking people. One man was 21. Another person in a vehicle was 20, according to scanner chatter. A woman at the scene was 26.

One officer said several people were being taken into custody.
