Mass. Man Faces Rape And Other Charges, Accused Of Attacking A Concord Woman In Her Apartment
The victim accused Christopher Hogan of Tyngsboro, MA, of attacking her and reportedly provided police with several videos of the incident.

CONCORD, NH — A man from Massachusetts was arrested and held without bail last week on more than a dozen charges, including two felony rape counts, related to reported attacks against his girlfriend that were recorded with a Ring camera, according to an affidavit.
Christopher M. Hogan, 36, of Groton Road in Tyngsboro, MA, was arrested at 4:14 p.m. on Oct. 2 on two felony counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault-domestic violence-no consent counts as well as three counts of simple assault, three counts of domestic violence-simple assault, two counts of criminal trespass, criminal threatening-conduct, criminal threat against a person, domestic violence-criminal threat, and criminal mischief.
Around 1:45 a.m. on Sept. 23, officers were sent to the Railyard Apartment complex on Langdon Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance. Police interviewed a woman, who reported Hogan, her boyfriend of about six months, had left the apartment before they arrived.

The woman said she and Hogan had dinner and drinks, and watched a movie earlier in the evening, but later got into an argument about a previous relationship she was involved in. The argument lasted several hours, she said. Later, the argument became physical, with the woman claiming Hogan had grabbed her, picked her up, and thrown her onto a bed three times, as well as removing her pants, according to a report. She also accused him of grabbing her by the throat, and one of the officers noticed a faint red mark on her neck and took pictures of the injury.
The victim admitted she had been drinking during the evening — the officer noted she appeared impaired, but she also told police she had a Ring camera in the apartment which recorded the incidents, the report said.

According to an affidavit, eight videos were submitted to the reporting officer.
In the first, recorded just before 11 p.m. and lasting for about an hour, Hogan grabs what the officer said appeared to be a knife from one of the drawers and heads into the apartment bedroom, the officer wrote. After grabbing a robe, he reentered the bedroom with what appeared to be a knife and could be heard saying, “actions have consequences,” according to an affidavit. The couple appeared to be arguing about the robe.
Another video picked up Hogan demanding the victim get onto the bed, with her screaming and him grabbing her, according to an affidavit. Hogan, the officer wrote, “forces her inside” the bedroom. The officer wrote the victim appeared to be impaired, and the door was closed so only “indistinguishable words” could be heard.
In another video, Hogan is with the victim in the kitchen and stated, “I’ll f------ rape you right f------ now,” while “chest bumping” the victim, causing her to stumble back, the affidavit said. The video, according to the officer’s account, also accused him of using his body to block her paths of travel. He also grabbed an item from her hand and threw it on the floor before pointing to the bedroom and stating, “get on the f------ bed right now… I’m gonna f------ rape you,” the affidavit said.
At around 12:30 a.m., the couple was seen in the kitchen, both partially clothed, with the victim “visibly upset” and ordering him to leave, the affidavit said. Hogan, however, approached the woman and said, “I’ll get out after I f------ get what I want,” the report said, while he was continuing to berate the woman.
In another clip, the victim told Hogan she would call the police if he did not leave, the officer wrote. She can be seen “shoving Christopher away,” but later, he picked her up, carried her to the bedroom, threatening to rape her, while she was yelling for him to stop, the affidavit said.
The officer accused him of threatening to rape her “several times” while she was heard screaming for him to stop. At one point, Hogan said, “You wanna f------ talk shit?”
Another video, around 1 a.m., showed her leaving the bedroom, screaming at him to leave, and Hogan grabbing her again and forcing her back into the bedroom, the affidavit said.
“(She) can be seen grabbing onto the door frame to keep herself from being forced back into the bedroom prior to Christopher releasing his grip on her,” the report said. “Christopher can be heard berating her while fiddling with the front of his pants.”
The officer noted Hogan grabbed his backpack and stated he was done before the video ended. Another video picked up the victim holding her phone to her ear while Hogan left the apartment, the officer wrote. But then, he blocked her attempts to close the apartment door, the report said. The victim attempted to close the door, but Hogan reentered the apartment and grabbed for her phone, the report said.
More videos, between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., showed the victim demanding Hogan leave the apartment, and he eventually did after she reached out to 911, the report said.
A video at around 1:45 a.m. showed the victim on the phone and Hogan leaving the apartment.
Judge Erin McIntyre found probable cause to move forward with the case on Oct. 5. Hogan was also arraigned by video in Concord District Court that day and detained. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Oct. 15.
