The show, “First Ladies of the Blues,” is a tribute to women whose voices and influence have shaped the blues from the 1920s to today. The program is set to celebrate artists including Bessie Smith and Aretha Franklin, while also recognizing the blues-rock legacy of Led Zeppelin and contemporary performers such as Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, and Joanne Shaw Taylor. The concert will deliver powerful vocals, blues, rock-and-roll energy, and music rooted in an enduring American art form. With a nine-piece lineup, the performance is expected to feature an energetic setlist, strong vocals and a full-band sound.

YellowHouse Blues Band has built a following across New England, according to the announcement. The band has sold out Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club six times, The Press Room four times and The Music Room Cape Cod twice.
