MacDonald: This Is Democrat Socialism

If you’re not sure what a Socialist America might look like, this is something of a giveaway.

DSA darlings fly private jets and stay in luxury hotels so they can give speeches about affordability and all the “Free” stuff their government will give you.

From where you stand today, that may not seem so awful because you still have freedom of mobility, the vote, and, even in tough times, the economic benefits of free-market capitalism. But when the people who promise you free stuff seize that system and drive off the innovators who made it work – sometimes referred to as the rich – they also kneecap every other form of innovation and growth.

Their system rewards political climbers who steal other people’s stuff, not wealth creators. Government ideas become the only ideas, and anyone who opposes them is stifled or silenced. What was once a thriving economy, more than capable of riding out downturns, becomes Europe’s generational economic malaise.
