Beloved Jersey Shore Pizzeria, Boutique Burn Down Days After Nor'easter

BEACH HAVEN, NJ — Two Long Beach Island businesses, a popular pizzeria and boutique, were severely damaged in a fire Wednesday morning.

The fire occurred just days after multiple businesses on Long Beach Island suffered flooding damage from the weekend's nor'easter.

The damage at BLVD Pizza and Sincerely, June in Beach Haven can be seen in a photo shared by the nearby Bay Village shopping center.

Both businesses are relatively new to Beach Haven. BLVD Pizza (in the former A Slice of Heaven spot) is the second location of the Surf City-based pizzeria, while Sincerely, June, opened as a new business earlier this year.

"Not how we pictured this morning going but everyone is safe & that’s all that matters," the boutique shared on Instagram, along with a photo of the burnt building.

Details about the fire were not immediately available. According to the Asbury Park Press, the Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.

In response, Okie's Butcher Shop and LBI Source launched a GoFundMe to support the two businesses.

"This morning, BLVD Pizza and Sincerely June in Beach Haven suffered a devastating fire," the fundraiser reads. "The full extent of the damage is still unknown, but we know our friends at BLVD Pizza and Sincerely June are facing an incredibly difficult road ahead."

The fundraiser had reached nearly $5,000 out of a $25,000 goal as of Wednesday afternoon.
