Pole Striping Returns To Historic Barnegat Barbershop
The shop, which initially opened in the late 1800s, is part of the Barnegat Historical Society's Heritage Village.

BARNEGAT, NJ — When you picture a traditional barbershop, you probably imagine one of those striped poles out front. Those stripes have been restored to a local historic barbershop that dates back to the late 1800s.
The Barnegat Historical Society announced that the striping on the porch posts at the George Hopper Barber Shop has been properly restored.
The restoration was completed by the society's historian, Curt Watts.
