BASKING RIDGE, NJ — After a sold-out debut that brought families, volunteers, and young athletes together on the courts, ACEing Autism is returning to the community this spring — with registration now open and expected to fill quickly.
ACEing Autism is a national nonprofit that helps children and teens with autism build confidence, coordination, and social connection through tennis. The program features structured clinics where each participant is paired one-on-one with a trained volunteer, creating a supportive and inclusive environment tailored to each child’s needs.
The upcoming five-week session will take place on Sundays — May 3, 10, 17, 31, and June 7 — at the Green Knoll Tennis Courts in Bridgewater, with separate sessions for ages 5–10 and 11–18.

The program’s first season in Basking Ridge reached full capacity and drew more than 30 volunteers, quickly becoming a standout example of community-driven inclusion.
“With such an incredible response from families and volunteers, we knew we had to bring the program back,” said organizer Amina Rachidi. “It’s been amazing to see the impact — not just in learning tennis, but in building confidence and connection.”

Seats are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Families are encouraged to register early:

- 2:00–3:00 pm (Ages 5–10)
- 3:00–4:00 pm (Ages 11–18)
- Cost: $100 (scholarships available)
Volunteers Needed
The program is also seeking volunteers to support participants on the court. Volunteers are paired one-on-one with athletes and help create a fun, engaging, and inclusive experience. No prior tennis experience is required.
