• 'Immediate Vacancy' Opens On Belleville School Board Ahead Of Election (patch.com) — Belleville residents have a chance to step into local leadership as the Board of Education seeks to immediately fill a vacant trustee seat, with the appointee serving through early January 2027. Qualified Belleville voters who meet state legal requirements must apply by Sept. 18, just weeks before the town's regularly scheduled November school board election.
