Fugitive surrenders to face charges he helped accused Wawa shooter escape (app.com) — A Brick man has surrendered to authorities and is now in Ocean County Jail, accused of helping a Toms River murder suspect avoid capture after a deadly shooting at a Wawa on Route 37. Prosecutors say he's one of four people charged with hindering the fugitive's apprehension, while investigators continue searching and ask the public for tips.
