Tom Kean Jr. Recognizes 7 Bridgewater-Raritan High School Students (patch.com) — Bridgewater residents can take pride as seven Bridgewater-Raritan High School students were honored in a special ceremony held in the school's Media Center. Rep. Tom Kean Jr. recognized four students in the Congressional Record and presented three others with prestigious Congressional Award medals, highlighting notable academic and personal achievements within the Bridgewater school community.
   

2. Somerville Circle housing lawsuit dismissed, but fight may return (mycentraljersey.com) — A proposed affordable housing project tied to Bridgewater's court-ordered obligations near the Somerville Circle is moving forward after a lawsuit was conditionally dismissed, pending a state highway access decision. Proceedings before the Bridgewater Planning Board are paused until the DOT rules on access, which will determine whether Somerville and nearby residents can revive their legal challenge and how traffic and emergency services are handled.
   

3. Football: Bridgewater-Raritan Pulls Away to Beat Union, 28-7, in Fourth Quarter (TAPinto.net) — Bridgewater-Raritan's football team broke a 7–7 deadlock at Union with three fourth‑quarter touchdowns, highlighted by Jahmier Black's two rushing scores and a 72‑yard interception return, to win 28–7 and move to 6–1. Local fans also learn the Panthers' next challenge is a road game at Phillipsburg next Friday, keeping the season's stakes high for Bridgewater supporters.
   

4. NGK Deploys Honeycomb Structure Ceramics For Direct Air Capture At Project Brighton (carbonherald.com) — Bridgewater is now home to Avnos' Project Brighton, a Hybrid Direct Air Capture facility expected to remove about 450 tons of CO2 from the air each year while generating roughly 475,000 gallons of clean water. NGK's new ceramic honeycomb technology is being tested there under real‑world conditions, positioning the Bridgewater site as a key proving ground for next‑generation climate tech.
   

5. BRHS Students Start Own Finance Blog (TAPinto.net) — Bridgewater-Raritan High School students launched "Finance Explained," a student-run blog that breaks down investing, economics, and careers in simple language for their peers. To expand their impact beyond articles, they organized a community book drive from Bridgewater families and donated hundreds of books across Somerset County, aiming to encourage both financial literacy and a culture of giving back.
