Gloucester Twp. Diner To Reopen After Series Of Fires
All of the fires were caused by the neon lighting, according to diner management.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — After closing due to a series of fires, Meadows Diner in Gloucester Township has set a reopening date.
Meadows Diner will reopen at 7 a.m. Friday, the business announced on social media.
The diner has been closed since Feb. 3, when it had its second fire in a week and third since September.

All of the fires have been small. But one of them injured a firefighter, who was treated at a hospital and released.
Each fire was caused by issues with the neon lighting, which was installed under previous ownership, according to Chris Coraluzzi, the diner's director of operations. Recent cold weather exacerbated the problem.

Meadows Diner temporarily closed to replace the neon lights with LEDs, which are safer, Coraluzzi told Patch.
"With the help of the fire marshals, we were able to get the actual root cause of the situation," Coraluzzi said last week, "and it's now in the process of being fixed."
Meadows Diner is located at 101 S Black Horse Pike, Blackwood.
