Mikie Sherrill says any credible misconduct reports must be fully investigated as Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell faces an internal probe over alleged inappropriate behavior and ethics issues. Caldwell, who previously led Centenary University in Hackettstown, is cooperating while outside investigators interview complainants, and state Republicans urge him to temporarily step aside during the review.
