• Hasbrouck Heights BOE Modifies Public Access Hours for Depken Field (tapinto.net) — If you use Depken Field in Hasbrouck Heights, you now have to stick to the new public hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., with anything later limited to Board-approved activities. The Board cites safety and property concerns, warns that after-hours use is trespassing, and asks parents to review the new rules with their kids.
   

• Video Catches Grown Man Swiping Money Jar From Kids' Lemonade Stand (mandatory.com) — Hasbrouck Heights police quickly arrested a man accused of stealing $50 from a kids' lemonade stand near Boulevard and Raymond Street, recovering the money and returning it to the boys. Detectives used witness tips and surveillance video to track him down in a nearby park within about 20 minutes. The suspect faces theft and related charges in Bergen County.
