• New Trees Coming To Hawthorne's Eight Acre Woods (tapinto.net) — Hawthorne is getting 10 new native trees in Eight Acre Woods this fall, thanks to an environmental grant secured by borough officials. Before planting, crews and volunteers will clear invasive plants, and residents will be invited to join a community cleanup and planting day to help restore this popular local green space.
