Nominated by another Hoboken resident, she's praised for her volunteer work, mentoring, and warm presence that has made her a beloved figure in the school community.
   

4. Hoboken Completes Vision Zero Safety Improvements Near Schools (tapinto.net) — New Vision Zero upgrades around Hoboken schools mean brighter crosswalks, daylit intersections, and clearer signage just as students return to class. City and county crews have improved 43 intersections and 14 key crossings, added bike parking, and trimmed foliage, while officials urge drivers to slow down, obey school-zone limits, and avoid blocking crosswalks or double parking near campuses.
   

5. 5 Hudson County Teens Named National Merit Semifinalists (patch.com) — Hoboken High School is among several Hudson County schools with students named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, recognizing strong PSAT performance and academic promise. These teens now move into the next round of consideration for college scholarship awards that will be decided in 2027, highlighting standout local achievement in a highly competitive national program.
