Along with talks by Jackson Galaxy and other feline advocates, attendees can meet rescue groups, shop pet-focused vendors, and even adopt or foster cats, all while supporting a mission to reduce homeless kittens.
   

4. Bell Theater Raised $50,000 for Aaron Lazar as Extraordinary Concert Lives Up to Its Name (newjerseystage.com) — Holmdel's Bell Theater at Bell Works recently hosted a sold-out Broadway benefit concert that raised $50,000 to support actor Aaron Lazar's fight against ALS. Backed by local charities Cabaret for Life and The Light of Day Foundation, the star-studded evening drew major Broadway names, while livestream donations and Lazar's GoFundMe continue to grow support for his family.
   

5. Living Memorials: Local Artist Mends Broken Hearts with Ink (tworivertimes.com) — Holmdel residents can visit a piece of World Trade Center steel displayed at the local fire station, part of a regional network of 9/11 memorial fragments.
