Jersey City Man Charged With Sister's Murder: Prosecutor
A woman died seven weeks after her brother assaulted her in a Jersey City home, prosecutors said.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A Jersey City man has been charged with murder three months after he assaulted his sister inside a home, officials said Monday night.
Alerjuan Bradley, 40, of Jersey City was charged with first-degree murder on Friday, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that at 11:40 p.m. on April 13, the Jersey City Police Department was notified of a domestic dispute at a home on Woodlawn Avenue.

Police found Yanesha Bradley, 47, injured.
The victim told police that her brother had assaulted her, prosecutors said.

She was taken to Jersey City Medical Center. She was pronounced dead on June 5, approximately seven weeks later.
The Regional Medical Examiner determined the cause of death to be complications from blunt force injuries, prosecutors said.
Alerjuan Bradley was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility on Friday, officials said.
