Popcorn Park Sets 5th Lions, Tigers & Beers Festival
The two-day June fundraiser in Forked River will feature tastings, live music, food and animal programs.

LACEY, NJ— Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in Forked River is bringing back its Lions, Tigers & Beers Festival for a fifth year, with two days of tastings, live music, food, fundraising and animal experiences planned for early June. '
The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 7, from noon to 4 p.m., according to the announcement.
The refuge described the event as a fundraiser held at the sanctuary, which is home to rescued exotic, wildlife and farm animals. Guests will have access to bottomless tastings, local food vendors, live entertainment, raffles, games and educational animal programming. Vegan and vegetarian options also will be available from vendors, according to the announcement.

"Popcorn Park Animal Refuge is proud to announce the return of its wildly popular Lions, Tigers & Beers Festival, now celebrating its 5th year!" the announcement said. The refuge also called the event "a celebration you won’t want to miss" for food lovers, animal lovers and craft beverage fans.
The festival supports the work of Popcorn Park and the Associated Humane Societies.

"Every ticket, toast, and raffle entry helps support the rescued animals at Popcorn Park and the thousands more cared for by the Associated Humane Societies each year," the announcement said.
One of the event's featured traditions is its raffle. According to the announcement, last year's grand prize winner received more than $50,000. This year's event also includes support from a presenting sponsor.
"We’re incredibly grateful for this year’s White Tiger Presenting Sponsor, The Competitive Advantage Companies, for their continued commitment to helping animals in need and supporting the mission of Popcorn Park and Associated Humane Societies," the announcement said.
The refuge is encouraging people to buy tickets in advance and watch for updates on vendors and entertainment.
"Raise a glass, raise awareness, and help us save more lives," the announcement said. Tickets and additional event information are available at AHSCares.org, according to the announcement.
The refuge also said people can follow its social media accounts for updates, participating vendors, entertainment announcements and event previews.
