• Red Bank man gets 20 years for deadly Lakewood crash (news12.com) — A drunk and drug-impaired driver has been sentenced to 20 years in state prison for a 2025 Lakewood crash at Cross Street and Hearthstone Drive that killed 42-year-old Lakewood resident Maria Pleitez and an 11-year-old girl. Another 11-year-old passenger survived after hospitalization, while the driver must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before parole eligibility.
