• Fire Occurs Next To Cottage Where Springsteen Wrote 'Born To Run' (patch.com) — Long Branch residents are talking after a two-alarm fire hit a vacant house next door to 7 1/2 West End Court, the cottage where Bruce Springsteen wrote "Born To Run." While the historic shack was spared, the blaze has renewed calls to move it to the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music at Monmouth University.
