CreativeMornings: April Acerno

CreativeMornings is a free monthly breakfast lecture series for anyone who identifies as creative (yes, that means you!). With 250+ chapters in 70 countries, we're thrilled to host the first & only NJ chapter in Montclair!

This month, our global theme is “Curate” and our speaker is April Acerno! Acerno is a vinyl DJ and the editor-in-chief of Eighty-Six'd, a local print magazine highlighting artists, small business owners, and other creatives in Essex County. A passionate community advocate, she organizes free events throughout the Montclair area, including art events, dance parties, and crafting meetups. Whether through her DJing or magazine platform, she strives to create spaces that are inclusive, accessible, and reflective of the diversity that makes our community beautiful.
