Familiar Face Returns To St. James Church In Montclair As Assistant Priest
The Rev. Sharon Hausman recently returned to St. James Episcopal Church in Montclair.

The Rev. Sharon Hausman recently returned to St. James Episcopal Church in Montclair, where she served as seminarian while earning her master of divinity degree at Drew Theological School in Madison.
A lifelong Episcopalian and longtime member of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, she was ordained a priest in 2019. Hausman has served as priest-in-residence at St. John’s in Boonton, associate at Christ Church in Newton, supply clergy throughout the diocese, an alternate deputy to General Convention, and as a member of the diocesan prison committee. Hausman is also is a prison chaplain. Her first career was as a reporter and editor, and her byline still appears occasionally in church publications.
