“The resident reported that he was sleeping and was awoken by his front door slamming shut at approximately 3:32 a.m. The resident immediately reviewed his exterior surveillance footage which depicted two males approaching the front door of the residence. A third suspect, who was already inside of the home, opened the front door for the two other suspects. A fourth suspect remained outside in a dark colored sedan … The suspects took the keys to the resident’s blue 2022 Audi SQ5. The three suspects then entered the victim’s Audi and fled south on North Fullerton Avenue. The fourth suspect followed in the dark sedan.”

Initial entry into the home appears to have been made through an unlocked first floor window, police said.

The Audi was found crashed and disabled at the on-ramp to Route 21 South from Route 3 early Tuesday morning, authorities said.
