• New Eagle Scout Brings Back the 'Bat Show' to Montville Community Park (tapinto.net) — A Montville Eagle Scout has installed four new bat houses in Community Park to cut down on mosquitoes and help restore the local bat population. Working with the township's Open Space Committee and Troop 74, Ray Ervey, Jr. led dozens of volunteers through rocky ground, rain, and 300 work hours to complete the project and add educational QR codes for park visitors.
   

• NJAC XC Batch Meet #3 2026 - Event 5 Men 5k Run CC All divis (Raw) (milesplit.com) — Montville Township High School's boys cross-country team turned in a strong performance at the NJAC batch meet at Greystone Park, edging West Morris 24–31 behind top finisher Christopher Smith and several tightly packed teammates. The results sheet also details how Montville runners stacked up individually against conference rivals including West Morris, Parsippany Hills, and others.
   

• Milania Giudice's assault case delayed amid news she had fentanyl in her system (star-telegram.com) — A court date in Montville Township Municipal Court for Milania Giudice's simple assault charge has been postponed two months, pushing her next appearance to December 1. The delay comes as newly released bodycam footage shows her mother, Teresa Giudice, discussing fentanyl in Milania's system and asking for privacy while their family focuses on her health and grief.
