• Montville Group Calls For Ban On Data Centers (patch.com) — Montville residents are being urged by local advocacy group Montville Rising to speak out against potential data centers at Tuesday night's Township Committee meeting on Changebridge Road. The group cites concerns about electricity and water costs, noise, and limited long-term jobs, even though officials say no formal data center proposal has been submitted in Montville yet.

• Montville Twp to Hold its Fall Paper Shred and Electronics Recycling Event (tapinto.net) — Montville is offering residents and local businesses a free paper shredding, electronics recycling, and prescription drug drop-off event on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Municipal Building parking lot on Changebridge Road. With a 10-box limit per vehicle and clear lists of acceptable and non-acceptable items, it's a convenient chance to securely clear clutter and responsibly dispose of old tech and medications.
