Man Robs Ice Cream Parlor In South Jersey, Police Say

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A man is wanted after he told an ice cream parlor employee he had a gun and robbed the store, Moorestown Police said.

On Sunday, at around 5 p.m., the man went into Brain Freeze Ice Cream Parlor at 99 W. Main Street, Ste 100, and told the employee he had a gun in his pocket.

He claimed to have the weapon as he told the worker to open the cash register, according to officials.

The man was in the store for just over one minute and got away with around $300 cash.

He then escaped on foot toward the Municipal Lot and got into an SUV.

Police believe the vehicle is gray and might be a Nissan Rogue.

The man was wearing dark-colored pants, a gray sweater that looked to have no pockets, a blue Nike baseball hat, and gray shoes with white soles.

He was described as "tall" with no accent in his voice.
