• Violent, Disruptive Passenger Duct-Taped To Seat On NJ-Bound Flight, Reports Say (patch.com) — Newark-area travelers on an American Airlines flight from Dallas-Fort Worth experienced chaos when a passenger allegedly assaulted a seatmate and hurled racist and homophobic slurs, prompting fellow passengers to restrain and duct-tape him. The plane, bound for Newark Liberty International Airport, diverted to Baltimore so authorities could remove the man before continuing on to Newark, and federal officials are now investigating.
