Mangiamo! A Discussion About The History of Pizza at the Ocean City Library.

On March 25th at 7 PM, Author Jason Love will give a talk at the Ocean City Library on pizza history. Event is free to attend.

Over the last two years, Jason Love visited more than 200 pizzerias throughout New Jersey, New York City, and Philadelphia. His book A Pizza Journey with Family and Friends focuses mainly on pizzerias in South Jersey. He also writes about the history of pizza and how it originated in Naples, Italy before making its way over to the United States. Pizza is now one of the most popular foods in the world. Americans eat about 100 acres of pizza every day!

On March 25th at 7 PM, Love will give a presentation at the Ocean City Library titled Mangiamo! A History of Pizza. This event is free and open to the public. He will discuss the history of pizza, highlight some of his favorite pizzerias in New Jersey and New York City, and include some trivia. Pizza will also be served courtesy of the Ocean City Library.
