Longport feeling sudden loss of Young Lifeguard (downbeachbuzz.com) — Ocean City's Beach Patrol joined 11 other South Jersey squads to cover Longport's beaches so Longport lifeguards could attend the funeral of 21‑year‑old guard and musician Will Murray. The shared effort sent 24 guards to stand in, highlighting the close bond among neighboring patrols and the deep impact Murray's life and service had across the coastal community.
