1. 59,000-Square-Foot Indoor Adventure Park Coming to Former Sears Property in Paramus (jerseydigs.com) — A massive 59,000-square-foot NRG Adventure Park is slated to open above Stew Leonard's at Paramus Park South, transforming part of the former Sears space and boosting the mall's tenant mix. The project, expected by 2027, follows years of Paramus zoning-board approvals that reshaped the property and will add another large-scale family attraction along Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway.
   

2. Two Paramus Employers Added to NJ's Growing Workplace Accountability List: $494.5K Owed (tapinto.net) — State labor officials have placed two Paramus employers on New Jersey's Workplace Accountability in Labor List, barring them from public contracts until they pay a combined $494,597 in wage and benefit-related liabilities. The NJ Department of Labor says the public "WALL" is meant to pressure companies that underpay workers or skip required contributions, and has already recovered more than $1.2 million statewide.
   

3. Shoplifter Tries To Run Down Officer, Crashes, Caught, Paramus Chief Says (tapinto.net) — Police say a shoplifting pair stole more than $1,600 in clothing from Lululemon and SKIMS at Garden State Plaza in Paramus, then allegedly tried to run down a Paramus officer while fleeing. The driver crashed near Oradell Animal Hospital moments later, where officers quickly arrested both Brooklyn suspects, according to Chief Robert Guidetti.
   

4. Half of NJ hospitals need to improve pricing transparency, group says (app.com) — Several New Jersey hospitals, including The Valley Hospital and Bergen New Bridge in Paramus, are flagged by an advocacy group as non-compliant with federal price-transparency rules, though they insist they meet official CMS standards. The report highlights how hard it can still be for patients to get clear, upfront prices for common procedures, even when online calculators exist.
