• Parsippany Mourns Tax Collector Who Died In Town Hall (patch.com) — Parsippany residents are grieving the sudden death of longtime tax collector Terence Whalen, who was found unresponsive in his Town Hall office and later pronounced dead, with no foul play suspected. Whalen, who had overseen the township's Division of Collections since 2008, is remembered by Mayor Pulkit Desai as a quiet, dedicated public servant, as the community joins his family and coworkers in mourning.
