• E-Bike Rules Set For Point Pleasant High School Students (patch.com) — Point Pleasant Boro High School is rolling out new rules for students who ride e-bikes, requiring school registration, proof of permits or licenses, and insurance for faster models. Riders must keep bikes in pedal mode on campus, park in a designated area, and follow traffic and speed rules or risk losing e-bike privileges and facing random drug screening.
   

• Monmouth Field Hockey 2026 Season Preview (monmouthhawks.com) — A Point Pleasant Boro High School alum, freshman midfielder Codi Damerau, is joining Monmouth University's nationally ranked field hockey team as it chases another strong Coastal Athletic Association run. The Hawks return most of last year's roster, add several international standouts, and open their 2026 season at home Friday against No. 17 Rutgers before a string of early home dates in West Long Branch.
