Join the 'Bioblitz' at Princeton Battlefield (tapinto.net) — You're invited to help catalog wildlife at Princeton Battlefield now through the end of August, using your smartphone and the iNaturalist app to support Sustainable Princeton's multi-year Bioblitz. The data will guide ecological upgrades, including a historically accurate heirloom apple orchard and native meadow, as part of the Reimagining Princeton initiative. Volunteers of all ages can participate on their own schedule.

Another Episode in Princeton's Wild Kingdom – The Screech Owl Who Didn't Want to Go Home (tapinto.net) — Princeton's animal control team recently rehabilitated and released two young screech owls found near the Butler Tract, though one briefly tried to move back into the truck instead of the woods. Officials say the owls are now in ideal habitat and remind residents to call Animal Control or a licensed rehabilitator before handling young wildlife.
